Creating Your Own Monarch Waystation
Learn how to create your own Monarch oasis, using the Monarch Waystation concept. We'll learn about Monarch Butterfly life cycles and migration, why Texas is critical for Monarchs, and how a Monarch Waystation benefits them. We'll have time to stroll through the nursery and see which plants would be best for your Monarch Waystation.
Clinic taught by guest speaker Carol Clark, a Texas Master Naturalist, long-time Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) member, Chair of the Bring Back the Monarchs to Texas committee of NPSOT, and a Monarch Watch Conservation Specialist. When she isn’t busy teaching others about pollinators or native plants, she enjoys looking after her own colossal Monarch Waystation and wildlife refuge in Cooke County.
