Vegetables for Fall Gardens

Saturday, September 14 @ 10-11am

It’s hard to keep a vegetable garden productive when the heat index is 105 degrees. But the cooler temperatures of autumn give residents of North Texas a chance for another season of crops before the cold of winter sets in. At this FREE gardening clinic, you’ll learn what vegetables perform best in a fall garden.

What We’ll Cover:

  • What vegetables can you plant in Fall
  • When can you / should you plant them
  • How & when to harvest
  • Planting tips and tricks

The clinic – held rain or shine – is free and begins at 10 am. (We will move indoors during poor weather.) You’ll receive 30-45 minutes of quality instruction from our professional staff followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

NOTE: You might want to join us for our hands-on clinic Planting Fall Vegetables on October 5 @ 2pm. We’ll be planting our own cool season crops here at Shades of Green.
