Have you ever wanted to pick up a paintbrush and create? Come join us and our new friend, Alex, in a relaxing and encouraging watercolor class and learn the basics of this amazing craft. We’ll be learning how to paint succulents—a popular and beautiful plant whose overlapping leaves make it perfect for watercolor!
In this class, we will be covering a few important watercolor techniques and then teaching you how to apply them to your own succulent. You don’t need to know how to draw or worry about your artistic ability—we can promise that you will surprise yourself with your artistic promise!
This watercolor project is suitable for students who are brand-new to watercolor as well as those who have taken a beginner class before. All materials will be provided, as well as a mat, backboard and sleeve for your artwork so that it is ready to be displayed!
As always at Shades of Green, this event is BYOB so bring your own drink of choice and snack if you choose to share with your friends!
